The man sat in the coffee shop in solemn misery
He looked into his coffee cup and thought of what could be
If he only had a time machine life would be grand
He would not have to put up with all the troubles in this land
If he only had a time machine he'd mess up the galaxy
He'd be living in his very own land of fantasy
She loves me
She loves me not
She loves me not
But that can all be changed
After I have it arranged
To mess up everything
Into my own personal crazy dream
If I only had a time machine life would be swell
Instead of having to live in this blasted hell
I'll make my time machine instead of writing another verse
Then I will become the ruler of the entire universe
